Mike Preston
Mike is one of the pre-eminent trial lawyers in Jersey and in September 2023 became the Bâtonnier or Head of the Jersey Bar. His experience and reputation mean that he attracts instructions in a wide field of work. He is renowned for bringing a calm authority to the most difficult of matters.
Mike specialises in trust, commercial and employment disputes, as well as having appeared in several of Jersey’s major criminal trials of recent years. Mike is a Crown Advocate having been appointed by the Attorney General to prosecute cases. He is also instructed in major cases for the defence.
Mike loves travelling and spending time with his family. He is now a much better rugby, football and cricket spectator than he ever was a player, although his past sporting achievements grow with the passage of time!
